Excellent optical construction - high-quality in a small package

In order to keep image quality at a high-level throughout the entire zoom range, Olympus has included an optical construction of 13 elements in 10 groups, one of which is an ED glass element. This element is put in place to correct aberrations and distortions, whilst also helping to ensure optimum image sharpness. Truly a wonder of design, the 40-150mm lens manages to achieve this quality without taking up too much space or making a huge dent in your bank balance.

MSC Autofocus - Silent, fast and smooth

Whether you decide that what is unfolding before you should be remembered in a still photograph, or a movie, this lens is suitable thanks to its smooth, fast and exceptionally quiet autofocus. Neither your subject nor the built-in microphone of your camera will pick up on any focussing sounds from your lens, leading to a more natural and memorable moment being recorded.
