Tokina Opera 50mm f1.4 FF - Nikon

The Tokina Opera range has been announced, promising to draw on the company's solid reputation and deliver a range of premium options for full-frame users. The first release in this exciting new lineup is the Tokina 50mm f1.4 lens, a modern take on the classic 50mm focal length. The 50mm option is one that every photographer must have in their kit, suitable for a variety of uses, namely portraiture and walk-around snapshots. The 50mm f1.4 Opera provides impressive optical quality, with edge to edge sharpness and a notable absence of distortion, aberrations and more. The fast f1.4 maximum aperture is not just good news for low-light shooting but also depth of field control. It is easy to create beautiful, creamy bokeh with this prime lens.

Compatible with full-frame DSLRs, the Tokina Opera 50mm f1.4 features dust and weather-resistant construction, so you can take it out shooting with you in the great outdoors without a second thought. Tokina's newly developed ELR coating has been employed, bringing with it a high level of protection from ghosting and flare, thanks to an impressive level of protection from various reflections. This allows you to enjoy the use of this lens under a variety of traditionally tricky lighting conditions.
