Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM M2 OSS

Sports photographers looking to take full-advantage of their high-resolution, powerful Sony Alpha Mirrorless camera will be over the moon with the release of this new lens, the Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM lens. This lens features a versatile zoom range that is perfect for getting a nice, tight crop of the action when required. The optical design of this lens promises sublime image quality, and is a perfect match for full-frame sensors. The bright f2.8 aperture of the lens allows for excellent bokeh capture abilities, while edge to edge sharpness is to be expected from this GM lens. Nano AR coating II has been applied to reduce ghosting and flare.

Not just notable for its optical excellence, this lens will excite with its build. It is incredibly compact and lightweight, considering its zoom range, which makes it mobile enough for comfortable use out in the field. The barrel length of this lens remains just as compact at all focal lengths, while to further benefit handheld use, the Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM M2 lens features Optical SteadyShot Stabilisation. Stabilisation control is performed by a switch on the ergonomically designed lens barrel, with a focus limiter, Iris lock and other functions easily accessible, as well as a physical aperture ring - this makes for a stunning user experience.

One of the main selling points of this exciting Sony zoom lens is its lightning-fast, and powerful performance. This is available thanks to the four high-thrust Linear AF motors which have been employed in the lens design. This AF system is fast enough for any subject you would think to fill your viewfinder with, while the tracking performance is top-notch, even while you are zooming simultaneously. The Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM M2 lens will also appeal to video lovers for a few key reasons. The lens is notable for minimal focus breathing, as well as the on/off click switch for the aperture ring, which allows for silent aperture setting changes while you film.
