Nikon Z 400mm F2.8 TC VR S Super Telephoto Lens

If you want premium telephoto results for professional sports and wildlife photography, add this lens to your camera bag; the Nikon Z 400mm F2.8 TC VR S Super Telephoto lens. While the 400mm focal length is great for most telephoto uses, this lens goes one better by including a 1.4x teleconverter, extending the focal length to a more magnified 560mm. This switch of course results in a loss of light, changing the maximum aperture of the lens from f2.8 to f4. This lens performs excellently in all situations, thanks to its premium elements, as well as a list of anti-reflective coatings, this includes Arneo and Nano Crystal coatings, as well as the brand new Meso Amorphous coating.

The Nikon Z 400mm f2.8 TC VR S super-telephoto lens is primed to tackle fast-paced photography. As well as an optical ABS encoder, this lens features a brand new Silky Swift VCM AF drive motor, which is notably fast and whisper quiet. AF performance is accurate and smooth at close distances as well as when subjects are far away. Notably, in the optical design, this Nikon telephoto lens features fluorite lens elements and short-wavelength refractive lens elements, which assures that despite its excellent performance, the lens is as light as possible at under 3KG. It features a magnesium alloy structure, a rubber gasket around the lens mount, and sealings around all moving parts on the lens barrel; the result is extensive dust and drip resistance so it can be used freely and confidently out in the elements.
