Absolutely! This easy-to-use system is ideal for anyone looking to start developing their own film.
What other items apart from the tank are required for film development?
The Daylight Tank includes all the essentials for developing film, but you will require a few extras. You will need: your chosen development chemicals, access to water, measuring containers, a timer, and chemical storage bottles.
Which film formats can I develop with the Daylight Tank?
The Lomo Daylight Developing Tank is designed specifically to develop 35 mm film only.
Which film types can I develop with the Daylight Tank?
You can develop all types of film with the daylight tank; black and white or color. The easiest film to develop is black and white, but color film is also possible. For color development, we recommend using the inversion technique and closing the lid of the daylight tank. You can use a bucket of warm water as a sous-vide, to help maintain a consistent temperature.
