Description

Canon RF 35mm f1.8 Macro IS STM is Quite a unique announcement from Canon, this lens combines a general wide angle focal length, with 1:2 Macro performance and excellent close-focus performance. In a best of both worlds offering, this lens will let you fire of landscapes and sceneries, as well as getting up close and personal to your subjects to capture them in intimate detail. The fast f1.8 maximum aperture is excellent at exploring selective focus techniques in your images, which is of particular use when you want to highlight the importance of a certain subject and relegate the rest of your frame to blur.

A perfect fit for the new compact, full-frame Mirrorless EOS R camera, this lens is incredibly lightweight at just over 300 grams, making it an excellent option if you are planning on taking your new body on an overseas adventure. The STM motor of the RF 35mm f1.8 lens awards you with a fast and quiet AF performance, as well as full-time manual focus override, while a built-in optical image stabiliser lets you go without a tripod for a while, delivering sharper handheld shooting results.
