Description

The Benro A38FDS2PRO is a highly portable, travel-ready video monopod system designed specifically for creators using mirrorless cameras, compact rigs, or smartphones. Supporting a payload of up to 2.5kg, this kit combines the A38FD flip-lock monopod with the versatile S2PRO flat-base video head. A standout feature is its three-leg locking base with an integrated ball joint, which provides the stability of a tripod with the fluid movement and small footprint of a monopod. For creators on the move, the reverse-folding legs and lightweight design make it an easy addition to any travel kit.

2.5kg Payload Capacity: Sturdy enough to support small-to-medium camera setups and mobile rigs.
3-Leg Locking Base: Features large fold-out feet and a ball joint for enhanced stability and smooth panning.
Integrated Accessory Mounts: Two 1/4"-20 threads allow for direct mounting of monitors or microphones.
Precision S2PRO Head: CNC-machined aluminium sliding plate with pan/tilt locks and a bubble level for accurate levelling.
Flat Base Versatility: The 60mm base is compatible with various platforms, including sliders, jibs, and half-ball adapters.
Travel-Optimised Design: Equipped with quick-action flip locks for height adjustments and reverse-folding legs for compact storage.

The S2PRO head itself is a multi-functional creative tool, featuring a 60mm flat base with a 3/8"-16 thread that allows it to be moved seamlessly from the monopod to sliders or jibs. It offers a wide tilt range of +90° to -70°, making it particularly effective for overhead tabletop setups. To streamline your workflow, the head includes two 1/4"-20 accessory mounts, enabling you to attach monitors or audio recorders directly to the unit without the need for a bulky camera cage.
